Work History

Infusion Coordinator

Articularis Heathcare Group
07.2024 - Current
  • I worked as an Infusion Coordinator, both level I and II. I primary worked with NextGen, Eblu, some We Inufuse, and Epic. I streamlined communication between healthcare providers and patients, ensuring timely delivery of infusion therapy. On a daily basis I would review the schedule, call patients to inform them of their estimations, signed patients up for Copay Assistance Programs, obtained Prior Authorizations for patients, renewed expiring authorizations and much more. I have been the primary infusion coordinator up to 3 offices at a time. The skills I have gained from this job are prioritization of tasks, working independently, efficiency, and communication.

Front Desk Coordinator

Carolina Macula and Retina
10.2023 - 04.2024
  • I worked as the front desk coordinator and have worked as the only front desk since I started in October. The job description includes: appointment scheduling, handling faxes, managing the phones, collecting payments, prior authorization work, filing charts and patient paperwork, patient communication, and insurance verification. Although not in my job description, I have learned how to be a ophthalmologic technician and some billing/coding. Everything I have learned at this job, has been self taught. The skills I have gained from this job are time management, better organization, communication, medical terminology, prioritization of tasks, and being proactive in my journey to learn.

Kitchen Staff/Event Chef

Salthouse Catering
03.2021 - 08.2023
  • I worked as a server, event kitchen staff, event chef and warehouse associate. My position’s role included preparing food for guest, making sure everything is set up for service, unloading and loading equipment, meeting deadlines for when dishes needed to be served, and working as a team to make sure the event went smoothly. This position enhanced my skills of time management, team work, efficiency, and quick problem-solving.

Manager

Plato’s Closet North Charleston
09.2020 - 03.2022
  • As a manager, I worked all levels of operation. Customer service skills are something I used on a daily basis and throughout my entire shift. I would greet customers, check customers out, manage my fellow employees, and answer the phone in a enthusiastic yet professional manner. I learned how to make the employee schedule, count drawers, make change orders with the bank, POS systems, and use different computer applications for the business. With the work environment at this job, I have learned the skills of multitasking, time management, problem-solving, and conflict management.
