Reviewed both New Business and Renewal Railroad Submissions, that were received from Brokers, Analyzed Submissions, and determined their acceptability for providing Casualty Insurance Coverage. This included both Short line Railroads and Class One Submissions.
Followed Underwriting Authority Guidelines, and if submissions were outside of my Underwriting Authority, Submissions were referred to the appropriate Underwriting Manager, for decisions. In addition, made approval and denial recommendations.
Tasks also included Broker visits, both local and non local, traveled with Risk Engineers, Claims Adjusters and Auditors. Overall, provided excellent Customer Service, by addressing inquiries promptly and offering explanations of underwriting decisions.
