Summary
As a nurse, I feel it's a gift and honor to be able to provide others with the care and knowledge I have to help them improve their lives. I have been a nurse for 15 years now and still feel a sense of reward each day for the patients I care for. In my previous work environments, I have been able to watch many patients come through with so many limitations and be discharged with new beginnings. I know that I can't solve all my patient's problems, but I know I will do everything in my power to be by their side and their family's side, each day that we work together and provide them with the education needed to allow them to control their issues as best as possible. I have grown from a staff nurse to a supervisor/manager over time and have been able to share my learnings and strengths with other nursing staff to provide a team for each patient to grow with. I have developed my skills through education and hands on experiences and will continue to learn each day. I feel that as a nurse there is always room to grow and I am open to new opportunities to allow that to happen. I feel that my work ethic, willingness to learn, and the drive I have to help others, makes me a strong candidate for any job I pursue.
