As a Telecommunications Officer I am currently responsible for the prioritization of emergency and non-emergency calls, as well as dispatching appropriate personnel in a timely manner. Responding to public inquiries and providing information and instructions to callers. I also handle imputing and updating information into our database all while seeing that the information is that of proper demographics. Handling any paperwork associated with our warrants division as well as filing and validating that paperwork. I currently also fill the position of a certified training officer essentially overseeing and monitoring the progression of oncoming employees.

During my time as a manager my duties were that of monitoring performances and making necessary adjustments as needed. I watched over our finance logs and was in constant communication with our bookkeepers to keep them up to date on any data or information updates. I scheduled interviews for oncoming employees and assisted with the training and skill development of those that were coming into the place of work. I worked as a bridge for our kitchen and floor staff being that there was a language barrier between certain employees. Being bilingual in both english and Spanish assisted me tremendously in situations as such. I successfully coordinated complex scheduling for a team of 15 individuals and continue to assist with scheduling by donating my time to my previous employer.
