Lisa Massaro

Provides administrative and operational support to Communications Center Supervisors, and Communications staff.

• Develops policy, procedures, rules, and regulations that support the Communications Centers of the Illinois State Police.

Provide general support and guidance to Telecommunicator Supervisors in the Chicago and Sterling Communication Centers.

• Analyze overtime budget for the Chicago and Sterling Communication Centers.

• Develop goals and objectives for the performance evaluations of Telecommunicator Supervisors.

• Create and implement content for the Telecommunicator Supervisor annual In-Service, as well as the annual Te[ecommunicator In-Service.

• Participate in TC Standing Committee Meetings with Labor Relations.

• Coordinate with the Office of Labor Relations on contract issues and grievance resolution.

• Respond to first level grievances.

• ● Supervise Telecommunicators at Chicago Communications Center
  ● Assist with Telecommunicator Trainee training
  ● Enter all training in the live training spreadsheet.
  ● Complete FOIA requests
  ● Complete the monthly telecommunicator schedule
  ● Assist with completing payroll
  ● Assist Telecommunicators with any questions or concerns.
  ● Assist local agencies with any questions or concerns
  ● Post and fill telecommunicator overtime shifts.

• Provide operational support and first level of supervision to Communications Center staff.
• Direct and supervise the activities of telecommunicator specialists and trainees
• Receive and monitor computerized and radio-based information utilizing a trunked radio network system and a computer aided dispatch
• Responsible for performing callouts to staff for overtime
• Provide on the job communications training to both sworn and code employees
• Assist with the resolution of radio and computer operation problems
• Perform quality checks on LEADS/NCIC entries
• Complete LEADS validations
• Complete CHRI reports
• Complete ISPERN reports
• Maintain monthly file maintenance
• Assist with subordinate development

• Supervise Telecommunicators at Chicago Communications Center
