I started out in the Emergency Room and there I entered lab and radiology orders. Made sure all the patients had all of the tests done as soon as possible. I also answered the 911 phone calls and dispatched Ormics.
I then went to the Cat Scan Dept. There I did billing, typing, scheduling made sure the correct exams had the correct codes with them before the patient was completed. I also made sure that pre-authorizations were correct.
I then moved to the Radiology Department where I did transcription, scheduling, faxing of reports, imaging CD discs, and order entry.
