I was selected out of a vast group of students to be a member of my High School's clinical program. During this time, I had rotations in Tristar Horizon Hospital's Labor and Delivery Unit, NICU, Emergency Room, and on-site Wound Care Clinic. I would go to the Hospital in the morning during my school day and help with patient care; this included taking vital signs, assisting in ambulating patients, bed changes and cleaning patient rooms, bathing patients, assisting in wound bandage changes, changing diapers, feeding newborns, and caring for babies.
