Capable for Troubleshooting and intension to complete allotted assignment in time and creative thinking on work floor as technical and organise
· Create plans, forecasts, and schedules for materials required to meet operational requirements.
· Liaise with suppliers as and when required.
· Undertake detailed and comprehensive analysis of material costs and identify opportunities for bulk discounts or cost savings from suppliers.
· Review ways to save money and maintain consistency in material quality.
· Monitor variances and recommend process improvements.
· Participate in regular planning reviews and prepare data in line with changes.
· Monitor data input to any Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system or IT system for accuracy and resolve any issues as required.
· Review the data integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and evaluate the usage and cost of materials in relation to the actual build.
· Monitor inventory levels against agreed target levels.
· Track inventory trends, carry out routine inventory control audits, and support inventory checks to validate accuracy.
· Create inventory reports and updates to others in the organization.
· Create supplier metrics. Issue and maintain performance metrics to optimize service levels.
· Communicate with stakeholders by sharing reports, updates, and analyses to aid decisions and optimize operational efficiency.
· Work with Material Planning staff to resolve issues, update material schedules, and ensure supporting MRP systems reflect product forecasts and demand.
· Support Pilot Builds/New Product Introductions from Engineering to Manufacturing (Introduction of Automation Conveyor Lines) for High Volume Production Lines.
· Developed Work Instructions/Engineering Drawings/AUTO CAD Layout/Cost Analysis/DFM Feedback to Suppliers
· Provide basic troubleshooting for Automation Equipment- Conveyors/Sensors/Vision Systems/HMI Functionalities.
· Designed Operation Layout to Improve Material Flow
· Improved Cycle Time for all Manual Station Processes by doing Line Balancing studies and met Cycle Times to improve production Throughput
· Investigate Equipment Failures and develop routine PM schedules/provide technical guidance to support Production
· Familiar with Lean Manufacturing/5S/Kaizen/Six Sigma & Statistical process Control (SPC)
· Reading and understanding design drawings and technical specifications to support the preparation of project deliverables such as calculations, specifications, and engineering evaluations
· Responsible for controlling all automation units on each processing line and panel with accurate time and full fulfillment of all requirements.
· Maintaining all conveyor belts with proper fabricating and proper time intervals for each belt.
· Controlling the IQF (individually quick-frozen) unit with the required temperature. IQF is a method that does not allow large ice crystals to form in vegetable cells.
· The IQF unit completely depends on an ammonia refrigerant for the processing line, and ammonia is a more efficient refrigerant than freon because it has a higher latent capacity per pound than freon.
· While freon can do the same amount of refrigeration work, you need to move more ponds of freon in a system to do the work. With ammonia, you move fewer pounds of refrigerant to do the same amount of work.
· Maintain and update the BOM, interpret drawings, and plan and coordinate cutting material on plasma cutting machines.
