- Under direction of jail Lieutenant, supervises, directs, and evaluates personnel and activities within jail division.
- Ensuring daily operational needs of the jail are being met.
- Special assignments include Jail Training Officer Coordinator, ICS contact for inmate phones and tablets, Black Creek contact for the Jail Management System, back up Department Safety Officer, and assistance to the department training coordinator.
- Administrative Sergeant- Over 3 years total experience: Duties included but not limited to; Supervising alternative custody staff and inmates, managing and daily auditing of electronic monitoring systems (veritracks), Booking “to appear inmates” into the jail management system for program participation, and supervision of the Administrative Secretary, custody records staff, maintenance and kitchen staff
- I was an active member of the Drug Court and Behavioral Health Court Teams, supervising participants, completing home and person searches of the participants, and attending weekly team meetings
- I was the sole replacement for the Administrative Secretary, I would maintain both the inmate welfare fund, inmate trust banking accounts, pay bills, order supplies, submit inmate legal requests and maintain inmate records
- I completed the Public Records request while working alongside County Counsel
- I was the Records Manager for all requested jail body camera footage, security camera footage, telephone recordings and video visit recordings
- I oversaw the upgrade of our JMS from its original program to a web-based version
- Maintained Fire Inspection Records, monthly building inspections and worked with BSCC to complete all necessary inspections
- Inmate Discipline Hearing Officer, one part of the administrative level response to inmate grievances
- Completed and submitted 1381 requests
- I was an active member of the quarterly jail quality assurance meetings, these meetings included members from Public Health, Mental Health, and jail nursing staff just to mention a few to collaborate and ensure inmates within the jail were receiving all necessary care while addressing concerns from any inmate or county partner.
