11/2004 I attended the International K-9 School for Dog Trainers in Columbus Ohio. It was a 6 week in house course that I attended with my 3 year old yellow Labrador, Magoo.

My certifications include basic and advanced obedience, breed identification, tracking, behavior modification, scent detection, puppy development, assistance dog and retrieval.

I am a professional member of the International Association of Canine Professionals and have been for almost 20 years.

I started my dog training business Kozy Kompanion Dog Training in May 2005. I have insurance through United Specialty Insurance Company from Westerville Ohio.

I taught puppy pre-school, obedience including one on one training and group classes. Preparing dogs for Caine Good Citizen certification.

Magoo’s titles include Canine Good Citizenship (CGC), Companion Dog (CD) in the obedience ring, and he was a therapy dog for 8 years through Therapy Dog International (TDI) and (TDIA) out of New Jersey. LorENZO, my present, 5 1/2 year old yellow lab has titles of CGC, CGC Advanced, Novice Trick and Advanced Trick. I also used agility for confidence building, so he is knowledgeable in this area. I built most of the equipment myself.

During my 20 years of dog training, I have also trained dogs to become service dogs with the owners special needs. Many of the dogs have achieved CGC tiles. I have worked with over 400 dogs to date for their dogs to become well mannered, happy family members.
