Professional Development
Over there years I have worked with sheet metal fabrication, even worked in a shop at one time. Learned welding , build engines, also ported cylinder heads, rebuilt pumps,
NHRA participant for 15 years or more. Racing cars is not cheap, learning on how to do it right can also be costly. I have always said this is were my practical mechanical experience comes from In order to race in the 9.00 second class or any class there is a set of rules that apply for your safety, also to build a car that handles such power has a specific application from the engine to the running gear, not to mention the ability to set up the car to plant such said power.
Harley Davidson Mechanic, Allot I learned from building race cars and custom cars was applied to motorcycle building. I stumble into the motorcycle world in 1998 once the race track closed in Honolulu, It was fascinating to me how similar a Harley engine and a 350 Chevy engine is so similar for example stock valves on a small block Chevy or Ford is 1.90 intake and 1.60 exhaust. Harley Davidson is about the same. Also bore and stroke of these engines are also simlar!
