Manager of Support Services

  • As Manager of Support Services, it is my primary job to ensure accuracy and excellence in the daily operations of four distinct divisions of field staff.
  • Electric Meter Technicians – Responsible for ensuring all revenue metering for the utility is accurate to include Megawatt (MW) metering applications
  • Performs theft of power investigations, sets power quality equipment (PQ), maintains Automated Metering Infrastructure (AMI) field assets, builds and tests all Current Transformer (CT) installations, utilizes multiple software platforms within their daily duties
  • AMI Field Operations & Analytics – Responsible for all facets of KUA’s AMI system
  • This team ensures that the system functions properly so that billing data is collected timely
  • They also maintain our Meter Farm, ensure proper firmware guidelines are observed and troubleshoot anomalies that may occur
  • Energy Conservation – Responsible for providing in-person analysis of customer premises, providing solutions that could lower their energy consumption
  • This team staffs public events, perform HERS Ratings for customers, facilitate KUA’s rebate program, processes PV applications from receipt to installation, and soon will assist with in-home EV charger setup
  • Customer Service Field Inspectors – Responsible for ensuring that every metering endpoint within our electric system is viewed annually
  • This inspection ensures that the meter is properly secure and functioning as designed
  • This team performs streetlight inspections, Utility owner Electric Vehicle (EV) charger inspections and aids the department when non-typical tasks arise.
