• Organized a Career Fair for 2,000 students and their families with representatives from over 40 STEM careers by; contacting over 150 local businesses and scientists, developing a map of locations by discipline on location, managing 8 volunteers during event set up and clean up by giving detailed instruction on expectations, and following-up with each representative thanking them for their time.
• Successfully planned STEM focused events for over 200 students every quarter during Junior and Senior Year (1600 students), by contacting and maintaining relationships with 80 STEM professionals in the region.
• Planned and organized the Shenandoah Valley Biotechnology Symposium for over 500 guests from surrounding schools. This included a keynote presentation from CRISPR inventor and Nobel Prize Winner, Jennifer Doudna, 10 professors from local universities to lead breakout sessions, and organized classmates to serve as volunteers during the event.
• Planned movie nights on the football field every year for 2,000 students with Women in STEM.
• Planned yearly spring socials for women interested in STEM-Healthcare Fields by having a panel of women who currently work in a STEM Discipline.
