Lucy Ottestad

Since freshman year of highschool I have babysat around 10 different families with kids ages newborn to 12.

All throughout highschool I worked twice a week at a church in east Nashville, where I tutored elementary students, living in government funded housing, ages 4 to 10. We mostly worked on math and reading skills.

As a part of the National Honors society, in the mornings before school, I tutored elementary school students.

For three weeks during the summer, I volunteered at a nonprofit daycare in Arusha, Tanzania where I worked with young children ages 0 to 5, and supported them in their early education and development.
