Luis Galindo

During my stay at Kroger I got to work almost every department. So I got to have a lot of experience in the Meat, Frozen, Back-stock/Delivery and Front Desk departments. I was mainly stationed in the Back Departments and, handled most of the product deliveries. That gave me good experience with heavy machinery, and moving around large pallets of product.

• Organized reservations and managed table visits.
• Answered phone calls and addressed guest questions and concerns.
• Being a server taught me a lot of great lessons. The main one being how to work under a constant fast pace work environment where it could some times get somewhat hectic. I gained a lot of personal flexibility, and willingness to learn from that.

• Processed payments, returns, and exchanges.
• Maintained cleanliness of the checkout area.
• Performed closing procedures to ensure the store was ready for the next shift.
• This job although very simple taught me how to keep a well maintained, and structured work area specially when handling, and counting money to ensure everything ran smoothly.

Staid active throughout my High School experience, and was able to maintain Varsity positions both In Track and Field, and Cross Country for the last two years of HS.
