Aspiring legal professional with a strong academic background. As a freshman, maintained a 3.43 GPA and built a commitment to immigration law. Understands the importance of legal representation of low-income immigrant families, coming from one himself. Due to my status I am not able to be employed however, I am always open for volunteering opportunities where I am able take advantage of meaningful resources that improve my knowledge and prepare me for the future. Posses proven leadership skills demonstrated as a Student Panelist for Mission Scholars where I was able to speak with first-generation students, who felt insecure about college and the hardships that come with it. Passionate about promoting justice and giving back to my community by assisting immigrant families in the legal field, with a focus on underrepresented communities from the Central Valley. Eager to contribute to and learn from the Law Fellows Program at UCLA, aiming to leverage meaningful skills to effect change in the legal landscape.
