Summary

I believe I would be a good choice for the academy because I already have my peace officer license, I have experience in a couple different areas in the field, and because I am willing to put in the effort to learn the job to the best of my ability. My experience in corrections, inmate transportation, and courthouse security have allowed me to see the different sides of the field and I have been able to meet people from various departments leading me to believe I'd be a good fit for the career.

I workout 5-6 days a week to stay in good shape to allow me to perform the duties required in this field. I have stayed disciplined and have been doing the best I can to put myself in the best position I can to be a good candidate for this academy.

If I am successful throughout this process and do get selected, I will stay disciplined and focused on learning the duties for this career so that I am successful throughout my career.
