I have 18 years working in the social area, on LGTBIQ and HIV positive population, focused on primary and secondary prevention issues, home visits, assistance and social support, advocacy, Human Rights and promotion and management of information in social networks, I have also collaborated in the formation of strategies for vulnerable groups (Garifuna and LGTBIQ) in the northern zone of Honduras, and the creation of support groups. I am an empirical social worker with 15 years of experience, on health and social development issues, preparation of project proposals and their development, with high-risk population groups, HIV people, LGTBQI groups and Garifuna (Afro-descendant) populations. I have experience in the development of survey instruments, and database for storage of information, I have participated in research on comprehensive care, stigma and research indexes in HIV population and preparation of baselines for LGTBI populations, I have also participated in studies on stigma and discrimination, comprehensive care, sexual and reproductive rights and universal rights in populations, HIV, Trans and Garifuna (Afro-descendant) population. I was a technical liaison for the project building HIV Partnerships in the Rural World in Central America with a strategy of approach in three countries of the region, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua, and as Executive Director of the Sampedrana Gay Community for Integral Health. I was responsible for the coordination of a projects since 2014, at the regional level for Llaves Foundation in the position of Technical Training and Gender, which takes place in Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua with HIV positive women with a focus on the reduction of violence and access to strategic litigation. From 2022 to the present, I'm working for Betances Health Center as a Patient Navigator and Marketplace assistant for the BHZ BE In To Health program with cis and trans women in New York City.
