LUKE KISH

Throughout my Lacrosse career and work experience thus far, I have had the opportunity to learn from great mentors. I have used the lessons to foster my own leadership growth. When working with the youth I learned patience and commitment are essential to build trust. While being part of a team I learned to foster strong relationships, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to bounce back from setbacks that occur. Most of all, I learned good leaders are also excellent listeners.

• Lacrosse, 2013-present, I have enjoyed playing lacrosse for 12 years.
• 4 year Varsity High school player. During this time, I learned to be a great team player and become a better communicator. I also learned how to deal with many different personalities, finding common ground between us all. This helped me as I transitioned to a collegiate player.
• Collegiate athlete (Lacrosse 2022-present)
• Tae Kwon Do, in 2016, I earned my Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do. This experience taught me determination, perseverance, and patience. I learned you must follow through, to meet those long-term goals.
• CIF Player of the year 2022
• 1st team all league
• Varsity Team Captain
• Player on the first team to win a CIF title for our High School
• Scholar Athlete
• National Society of High School Honors (NSHSS)
