I worked for Shell Gas Station for about 2 months, since my next sport season started in the fall. I was able to learn a lot from this experience, I have never worked in a gas station before so this was new. I went from making food, to working the register. With my enthusiastic attitude and smile, I was able to make others smile. My supervisor was very happy to have me work for her, even if it was a short amount of time.

I have been volunteering at Blood Drives for my high school since freshman year. Every Fall and Spring we have a blood drive, sponsored by the Sauk Prairie FFA Chapter. I enjoyed helping at these because they improved my talking skills, and made me more of an independent and responsible person. Being in this environment made me realize just how much blood is needed, I decided to finally give donating a try! And now I have been donating ever since.
