Went to school to learn welding for 10 months, and each month was a different topic. I learned blueprints, metallurgy, pipe, and the different processes. Learned MIG, TIG, and STICK, in a flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead position. Assembled, disassembled, and used the track torch, plasma cutter, and oxy-acetylene cutting torch. End of course, I did two bend tests 2G and 3G with a removable backing strap.
