I started as a crew person, became a manager a month later, and after that was promoted to a assistant manager and transferred to a new store. I worked in that store until 2008 and then I joined the Training Department. While in the Training Department, I oversaw 12 stores in regards to operations and training programs. I became the Head of the Training Department in 2015 and have retained that position since. I oversee a team of 4 individuals, work with 64 stores, other departments, upper leadership, and teach management classes.
I own my own business which is a horse and carriage business. Horses have been in my family and I started the business after the many requests of bringing a horse for a wedding. I do this on my days off. Our horse and carriages can be found at the LaCrosse Rotary Lights, they carry Royalty at many parades (Oktoberfest, ButterFest, CranFest, to name a few), we do weddings and Quinceanera's in the area and travel all over the Midwest. Our most popular carriage is our Cinderella pumpkin carriage. This is a special carriage to us. It's maiden voyage was to grant a wish for a little girl for the Make a Wish Foundation. At the time we didn't know this, but we took her in the carriage to her favorite restaurant which was McDonalds.
