Affiliations

  • Softball- I played regularly for a local Bristol team and separate Welsh team in the UK for 7 years. I was accepted onto the GB Olympic Softball team at 16 and was invited to compete globally for the UK. Unfortunately the trip was postponed due to covid and ultimately the UK team didn't compete.
  • I ski whenever I can.
  • I love to cook. I find it to be very calming and fun as it gives me the opportunity to try different types of food from around the world. I also love the challenge of creating new dishes every week.

Accomplishments

  • In 2023 nominated for the Bristol Young Hero of the Year awards as a result of my personally fundraising $19,000 and environmental efforts that I took in order to embark on my expedition to Antarctica.
  • I won entrepreneur of the year for my role as the CEO of the Clifton High student business competition.

Extracurricular Activities

Expedition to Antarctica 01/01/21 - 03/01/23. At age 16 I applied to join a two week expedition to Antarctica in 2021. In order to pay for the costs of this expedition I had to raise $19,000. I did this by: cold calling and emailing influential individuals and businesses in the UK and the USA. I made a promotional video to send alongside the emails. I held talks at the local Football and Rugby stadium where I caught the attention of one of my largest sponsors and I wrote a magazine article that was published in the Bristol city magazine. I successfully raised the required amount withing 6 months and was accepted as the youngest attendee on the expedition.

Whilst on the expedition I engaged with entrepreneurs and investors, climate activists, scientists, and CEOs, gaining insights into Antarctica’s fragile ecosystem as well as learning about the urgency of protecting this unique environment. As the youngest person on the ship, the journey was not just about reaching Antarctica but proving to myself what determination and resourcefulness can achieve.

Projects

  • Took on a project to drive up lease renewals early: I cold called tenants about renewing and managed to get 70 renewals across two weeks as a result.
  • I proactively suggested physical pricing sheets to give to prospective tenants thinking it could increase their ease of understanding and interest as they were able to easily contact us with the information on the sheet. It has increased returning prospects significantly. I have also designed and completed other marketing documents for Gold Zone Rentals.
  • Frequently man a stand handing out flyers and gifts as well as running competitions at the Kent State basketball games as a representative of Gold Zone Rentals, for a season and a half to raise awareness for GZR. This has led to increased numbers of tours being booked and leases being signed.
  • Coordinated and facilitated a meeting to explore a potential partnership with Snag Delivery, focusing on providing value-added benefits for Villas Knoxville (Student Quarters) residents while identifying mutually beneficial marketing opportunities. Contributed to early partnership discussions by aligning brand visibility, resident incentives, and outreach strategies to support leasing and community engagement goals.
