I am a detail-oriented individual with exceptional work ethic and strong interpersonal skills.
As both a Community Habilitation worker and a Landscaper, I am consistently striving to enhance an individuals' quality of life whether through dedicated care and personalized strategies, or attentive and passionate efforts to improve a home or business. I have proven ability to collaborate with teams and adapt to both evolving and high intensity situations. I carry my passion for the lives living in this world everyday.
During my time on my highschool robotics team, OxBe4, I organized and ran a year long community donation drive. Through this, my team and I were able to put together 120 STEM projects and/or classroom bags to send to rural schools in Afghanistan. These bags that were donated or sewn together by the team, included 5 different projects. The projects used recycled, reusable material and written instructions in both English and their native languages, Pashto and Dari. Along with this, we sent out regular classroom bags including materials such as notebooks, scissors, pencils, lego blocks, etc.
Due to my leadership and participation with the Afghanistan Project, I was nominated and selected to take part in the Women of the World conference in 2020. Held online due to Covid 19... I had the opportunity to meet, collaborate, and share experiences and struggles with other young women working to make a global impact.
