I discovered my passion and dedication for integrative medicine while I was pursuing my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Business at San Jose State University; I had been a scholar athlete during all 4 years and a loyal teammate to the Division I Softball program that nurtured my competitive spirit and placed me in the care of the SJSU Sport's Medicine department. The department as a whole emphasized the balance and benefits of alternative and holistic approaches to medicine coupled with necessary Western Medicine interventions in order to address the physical and emotional disruptions one may face in the world of collegiate athletics and equipped us with ways to promote lifelong health and wellness.
In 2018, I made the choice to pursue my Master's Degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine with a concentration in Acupuncture and Herbology and to become a licensed Oriental Medicine Doctor through the nationally recognized ACAOM (Accredidation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine) by the year 2023.
In my professional work experience, I have gained 9+ years experience in hospitality with the past 6+ focused in high-volume and fast-paced nightclubs and bars which has allowed me to embrace and refine my skills in organization, multitasking, and dedication to customer satisfaction.
I am dependable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable in strategies for boosting business profits with optimal cost control and service approaches. I independently solve routine customer issues to promote loyalty to the business I proudly represent. My goal is to create a harmonious blend of my professional skills along with my academic knowledge in order to provide practitioners and patients with the best possible plan of treatment.
