I volunteered in special olympics all four years of high school which is a full day of competing and doing fun challenges for special needs students at my highschool and surrounding highschools. I also volunteered for tennis buddies which was every weekend and I would play tennis with special needs students and help teach them how to play. Throughout highschool and college I have been involved in numerous clubs including helping little hands which was creating fun activities and gifts for young children that are in the hospital. In college I am very involved in THON. My freshman year I was on a THON committee that helped make food THON weekend and help the dancers get through the 46 hour dance marathon. I am in the sorority Alpha Xi Delta which I do lots of philanthropy events for and is also heavily involved in THON and I contribute to events that help raise money for THON and other charities.
