I am currently in college to become an elementary teacher. Helping children learn and grow has always been my passion. I have skills that I developed while working at LaFontaine as well as the skills I have learned doing observation hours at the local elementary schools. I am great with children, and I want nothing more than to be a great role model and educator to them. I am a dependable, hard working, organized, and team player person who you can always count on!
I worked with children from ages 6 weeks to 3 years old. I assisted them with daily needs like feeding, diaper changes, and how to use their gross motor skills.
I taught lessons to the students about math, english, and other subject areas to give them a head start on their development.
We rotated classes to give the children a school-like experience before they actually started school.
We done professional development like trainings to further our knowledge on how to benefit the children in their development.
I babysat various aged children at my home where I assisted them in their daily needs like changing, feeding, etc..
I done this while I was in school during my free time.
I co-oped at my local hospital where I worked as a student nursing assistant.
I assisted patients on their daily needs like feeding, changing, getting out of bed, and bath needs.
I worked here during my senior year of high school.
