Self-motivated, with a strong sense of personal responsibility. I showed my dedication to the well being of both the children and my team by coming to work everyday with a positive attitude and lots of energy to help address the needs of the children in order to keep them happy and having fun.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Was able to communicate with children in a way for young minds to understand. I helped to guide their behaviors by building trust and mutual respect.
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations. It can be hard to predict what a child may do next, and I was always ready and alert for changes like behavior. In addition, I was able to quickly figure out which children became upset easily, and step in before a situation escalated.
Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance. Was assigned a group with other staff members to oversee our own class of children. We communicated and created plans together to make the day go as smooth as possible while also having fun.
Demonstrated respect, friendliness and willingness to help wherever needed. As a result, other staff frequently relied on me to come help elsewhere, whether it was a girl needing help in the bathroom, or to clean up from lunch time, showing my dependability to show up when required.
Resolved problems, improved operations and provided exceptional service by frequently interacting with parents. I was often approached with questions and took the initiative to happily provide answers, which ensured the parents stayed informed, and trusted my ability to keep their children safe.
