• Places hemodynamic monitoring. This varies based on location and may include peripheral arterial and pulmonary artery catheter transducers, EKG, pulse oximeter, and nerve stimulator's.

• Follows Sterile technique when opening invasive lining kits and supplies for Anesthetist & Anesthesiologist

• Maintain awareness of physiological parameters and baselines of patients during surgery by drawing blood for ABG's and COAG Panels.

• Assists in transporting post-operative patients to the Intensive Care Unit, including manual ventilating the patient throughout transport.

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of the Anesthesia Team.

• Assist in facilitating patient care with the departmental leadership team in the development of other staff members' schedules and assignments.

• Assisted anesthesia personnel with insertion and setup of temporary pacemakers, catheters, invasive monitoring lines and central lines for hemodynamic monitoring.
• Operated invasive hemodynamic monitoring equipment, intubation bronchoscopes and ultrasonic scanning devices under direction of licensed anesthesia provider.
• Assisted with transports of invasively monitored O.R. and I.C.U. patients.
• Maintained sterile anesthesia supplies within expiration date.
• Followed infection control procedures to maintain cleanliness of anesthesia monitors and apparatuses.
