• Collaborating with gateways to fix any issue and reduce transit times
• Optimizing freight cost, negotiating carrier rates and improving cost efficiency

• Monitoring import end export procedures and ensuring compliance to all federal regulations and custom duties
• Handling customer accounts in order to submit entry in customs automated system - ASYCUDA
• Uploading regulatory documentation in system such as permits and other cargo control documents
• Advising customers on import and export restrictions, Incoterms, tariff systems, freight quotes
• Coordinating with shippers and freight forwarders to ensure on time delivery or to amend shipment documents if necessary.

• Reviewing and processing import and export documents shipped by ocean, air, rail and truck
• Classifying imported and exported goods in terms of tariff coding systems
• Declaring merchandise in automated system for customs data- ASYCUDA
• Advising customers on import and export regulations and laws
• Interacting with carriers, agencies and foreign entities to provide guidance on admissibility and compliance
