Performed Routine Maintenance,as well as in-depth overhauls of Tractors, Implements and Earthmoving Equipment. Worked independently with minimal supervision, accessed and diagnosed damage and malfunction. Replaced and repaired parts, according to service manuals and procedures.

Duties also included basic Welding and Fabrication, and use of Oxy-Acetylene Torch, in addition to outdoor fieldwork, and earthwork.

  • Responsible for assembly, inspection, and reconditioning of windmill drivetrain components. Such as mainshafts, main bearings, gearboxes, and shrink elements. Became familiar in the operation of 15T Overhead Cranes, Rigging, Oversize Forklifts, Shipping and Receiving, Large Component Painting, and MagnaFlux crack testing. Worked in multiple teams for the reconditioning and assembly of mainshafts with installation and lubrication of mainbearings, and housings. As well as final assembly and dual-crane loading of completed 47,000lb drivetrains. Maintained a high standard of digital assembly reports, and became familiar with multiple reporting software programs. Was primary technician in charge of Shrink Element Reconditioning, and independantly returned 2,500lb Shrink Elements to like new condition.
