Second-year Electrical Engineering student with hands-on experience in engineering design and programming. Became a member through an application process that included short essays reflecting on leadership and academics as well as submitting letters of recommendation from faculty members.
• California Scholarship Federation, Poway High School, 2021, 2024, Recognizes high academic achievements and encourages community service. Attended monthly meetings and completed community service required to maintain membership, through opportunities provided by the club such as volunteering events at elementary schools.

• Kicks4Kids, San Diego, CA, Co-Founder, 06/20, 08/24, Kicks-4-Kids is a non-profit organization I founded with several friends to teach children the basics of soccer. We publicize our 4 week-long summer camps through flyers, schools and community families. More than 30 students attend each session. As a co-founder, I create activities/exercises, check in campers, and also make sure they remain safe at all times. I also had to make important decisions such as how to spend the donated money to benefit the children. This role gave me a sense of responsibility and improved communication skills through dealing with people of various ages.
• Poway Teen Volunteer Program, Poway, CA, Volunteer, 01/20, 06/24, Poway Teen Volunteer is a city-based program that encourages local students to support community events. Helped support community events through duties such as set up/clean up, registration, organizing games and supervision of children.

• UCLA Summer Sessions- Mechanical Engineering, 06/22, 07/22, Accepted into this intensive technical program which introduced me to automotive design. Working in a team, we designed and built a go-kart from the ground up, using technologies such as CAD and 3D printers. In our final presentation we described our design and decision-making. I learned important skills such as responsibility and collaboration.
• UC San Diego Extension - Sally Ride Engineering, 06/21, 07/21, Participated in an immersive STEAM workshops led by expert instructors, exploring roles in space exploration, programming, and engineering. Completed a hands-on Rube Goldberg challenge, designing and building a multi-step mechanical system that demonstrated principles of physics, energy transfer, and creative problem-solving.
