Within this role I work closely with the teams supervisor, individuals specialists, teams within and outside our business unit, upper leadership, and our field force.

I handle a multitude of daily tasks from sending daily report, ensuring daily required numbers are met, answering questions from my team, field force training classes, and when needed other teams and divisions within Aflac.

This role also requires that I keep up with our teams daily production to ensure everyone is either meeting or exceeding the required 100%. Attend meeting and or collaborations to work through current issues within our division, and coming up with new best practices.

  • Developed strong product knowledge to provide informed recommendations based on individual customer needs.

  • The goal of pended business is to efficiently process corrections while reviewing the application in its entirety.

  • Pended Business is more than simply processing corrections, one must also be able to research when needed. Having knowledge of where to locate manuals, product changes, plan codes, forms, and different state requirements. You must also have communication skills. This is important when emailing team members within our division or with agents.

Coaching

  • When the opportunity arises to train a new team member, or help someone to learn pended as a backup I volunteer. Knowledge is key and the more we gain the better, and more efficient our division becomes. Team work is something I hold in high regards.
