For almost 20 years, I owned a restaurant equipment repair company with a staff of 2 to 3 employees at any given time. The company focused mainly on Coffee and Espresso Service for major coffee distributors like Sara Lee Coffee & Tea, Barnes and Noble, Dunkin Donuts, and Starbucks. We also worked for many local coffee suppliers and roasters. For many years, we covered Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods Casino, handling all their on-site coffee repairs for the distributor there who purchased from Sara Lee Coffee and Tea. Our primary focus and concentration was on service and calibration plans for Dunkin' Donuts. Corporations like Dunkin had very strict recipes to follow and had regular surprise inspections in their franchised restaurants. Over time, our customers asked us to take on other equipment. We added refrigerated dairy machines, sugar machines, flavor shot machines, and eventually Turbo Chef Ovens.
After some changes in the industry, I decided to try selling tools for Snap-On Tools. I am currently employed with Snap-On.
