I began my controls and automation career working directly with industrial machinery and electrical control systems, where I gained hands-on experience designing electrical schematics, supporting PLC/HMI systems, configuring drives, and troubleshooting automated equipment. At Amada America, I worked on sheet metal material-handling automation systems, including OMRON PLC programming, motion control, HMI/PLC hardware and software, and electrical control system support. I then expanded my experience at RK Controls by engineering drive systems, developing AutoCAD Electrical drawings, configuring Siemens MICROMASTER and G120 drives, and performing quality inspections on engineered electrical panels.
These early roles helped build the technical foundation for my current senior controls engineering work, where I lead complex industrial automation projects from design through commissioning and field support. My background combines hands-on troubleshooting, electrical design, PLC/HMI programming, VFD configuration, panel documentation, and project execution in demanding industrial process environments.
