  • As a dec-tech I'm tasked with removing membrane material and prepping it for it to be re-patched, sanded, and ready for installation.
  • Once prepping is complete you move onto gluing down your material and then proceed to weld it to get a water tight seal.
  • Depending on the job we had to carry heavy things up ladders sometimes exceeding over 100lbs, after a day of work you're left with a beautiful new deck/porch.
  • This was a very delicate line of work because everything is dependent on the prep, if you ruin the prep, you ruined the final product.
  • Sometimes we'd have to tear off the trim depending on how far up behind the wall the membrane has to go.
