DTS is a short term residential program, that specializes in treating co-occurring disorders; specifically those with comorbid substance abuse disorders. This facility is lower acuity, and does not receive Baker Acts or Marchman Acts.
As a BHT at DTS, I'm expecting to- engage with clients, encourage recovery, document client behavior, do continuous 30 minute checks, intakes and discharges, maintain a safe and clean environment, conflict management, and verbal de-escalation.
