My background in post-secondary education has given me experience in working with undergraduate-level students both face-to-face and in virtual classrooms. I provided mentorship, did some career counseling and worked to build community in my classroom and in the college at large. At Southern State Community College, I tutored undergraduate students in Math and English Grammar and Composition. As a graduate student, I built and maintained the first website for the University of Cincinnati History Department (which has since been upgraded). As a writer, I maintain a presence on social media, including Facebook and other venues, and currently work on creating an on-line marketing process for self-published authors through Red Girl Digital Media. LLC. Through Red Girl Digital Media, LLC, I am a published writer and editor. I have taught classes in Microsoft Office and regularly used Zoom and PowerPoint in remote lectures. I am very comfortable working with students of all ages and abilities. I have degrees in both Business (IT) and Humanities (History) and use the structure of business, the critical thinking skills of philosophy, and the symbiotic integration of history to work with students by guiding them to their own knowledge.
