- I currently specialize with procedural knowledge of cardiac testing, scanning and documenting patient cardiac activity on EKG's, Rhythm Strips, Vitals (blood pressures, O2 Sats), Holter Monitors (including CAM monitors), 30 - 60 day Event monitors, 24 hr. Ambulatory Blood Pressure monitors and Stress Testing. I'm back up for our Pacemaker department when our E.P. nurse is unavailable for telephone transmissions of patient's devices. I train employees who assist in the Department of Diagnostic Testing. I have a history as a Clinic Supervisor overseeing M.A.'s, Technician's, Nurse's and Front Desk. Including employee reviews, hiring of employees and more. As well as a history as a Phlebotomist performing blood draws and COAG testing for INR levels, Nuclear Stress testing, Chest X-rays, RX's, Medical Office Insurance Billing and maintaining Crash Carts. I have also performed Pulmonary Function testing.
- I create and update spreadsheets for the tracking of patient testing, scanning, creating orders and billing maintenance. I order and Maintain cardiology equipment, register patients for devices and schedule appointments for patients being seen in Diagnostic Testing.
- I inspect, maintain, and adjust cardiology equipment including O2 tanks, AED machines, Cardiac monitors, BP monitors as well as the treadmill machine and order supplies for the Diagnostic Testing Department.
- I previously researched information on multiple Stress Test manufactures and received approval through CEO and Board Members to order Philips Treadmills for both the Las Vegas and Reno locations for our Cardiology Dept's. I continually meet with different types of monitor Reps to purchase the best relevant monitors on the market for function and price for our patient's needs for infants through adults, with the final approval from our Electrophysiology Team.
- I assisted in an E.P. Study regarding the "Use of Single-Patch Electrode Ambulatory Monitoring Devices in Variable Thoracic Locations in Small Children" consisting over a period of time to include 309 studies which was Published in JACC: Clinical Electrophysiology with Ricardo A. Samson, MD and referencing my name and contribution.
