Draw patient blood samples and bring the specimen to the laboratory for processing. Centrifuge, separate and distribute the specimen to the appropriate sections. Utilizes the laboratory computer to log, edit, cancel, receive and print physician test request. Maintain a clean , organize and fully stocked tray and work area.

Assist by taking inventory, restocking supplies and receiving specimen. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Adheres to the hospital safety standards by following safety procedures and reporting any unsafe conditions to the supervisor. Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
