Accomplishments

Here are some of my supervisor's comments during my last job evaluation:

Mariana has a cheerful outlook and works well with clients and staff. She has a very warm rapport with everyone she meets and is always willing to help with any situation when asked. She continues to improve her active listening skills and shows empathy and understanding towards others effectively. Mariana also knows when to ask for additional help from her co-workers or supervisor, which is extremely important when dealing with unfamiliar work challenges or aggressive clients.

Mariana is quickly absorbing the complexity and technical nature of the job and has shown exceptional growth and learning in her role. She regularly exceeds performance goals for collections and case timeliness and is willing to take on tasks outside her area of responsibility. One example Mariana recently worked on is a time management calendar to aid the CSS caseworkers to stay on track for completing their monthly reports in a timely manner. The calendar has been beneficial in the success of the staff meeting their child support collection goals. Mariana's organizational skills are top-notch, which were clear with the creation of the calendar and have been an asset to her overall job performance.

This past year Mariana has shown dedication to her role by completing two paralegal courses at Colorado Mountain College in addition to taking several State Child Support program training courses through the Child Support Training website, Cornerstone. Her desire for knowledge along with her ability to learn new skills quickly is an inspiration to the CSS staff.
