Oversee Case Management Department family reunification procedures with the support of the Lead Case Manager
Provide guidance and support to case managers regarding all aspects of The Family Reunification process from beginning to end while following ORR policy and procedures.
Review UAC Portal documentation (case review, release request, ISPs, .etc.…) for family reunification case submissions and that pertinent case management information/documentation has been uploaded to UAC Portal
Ensure that Case Managers are updating completing the weekly notes with the most pertinent case information in a timely manner with the support of the Lead Case Manager.
Keep track of UACs length of stay to ensure safe release in a timely manner
Attend weekly case staffing with liaisons (GDIT and FFS)
Arrange and attend internal case staffing with other department staff
Ensure that Case Managers are completing assigned tasks as per ORR, TDFPS policies/procedures with the support of the Lead Case Manager
Point of contact for issues/concerns regarding UAC Portal with the support of Lead Case Manager
Assign Case Managers caseloads using 8:1 ratio with the support of the Lead Case Manager
Assist Lead Case Manager is managing Case Management department personal issues
Assist Lead Case Manager in coordinating Case Management department meetings and/or trainings
Assist Lead Case Manager with completing requests (stats, data, info, etc.…) from liaisons (ORR, GDIT, Pro-Bar, DHS, etc.…)
Assist Lead Case Manager in completing monthly, quarterly and annual reports
Assist Lead Case Manager in coordinating transfers
Assist Lead Case Manager in reviewing and approving Significant Incident Reports within the Case Management department
Communicate with TDFPS when reporting Significant Incident Reports within the Case Management department.
Assist Lead Case Manager in reviewing/completing file requests by ORR
Participated in yearly TVPRA trainings by ORR
Provide guidance to Case Managers regarding TVPRA criteria
Conduct desktop monitoring of the UAC Portal and on-site monitoring of case files.
Provide PSA initial training/refreshers to all program staff face-to-face and via MS Teams
Provide training of the overview of Case Management department to other department staff
Provide ORR policy and procedures training to case managers and case aides assigned to the case management department (face-to-face and via MS Teams)
