- Lead special projects related to Estimating functions

- Support and facilitate the development of strong working relationships between Estimating and other departments
- Estimating Responsibilities:
- Estimate tooling and part costs for new and existing components by following written quotation procedures
- As appropriate, consult with internal resources to gain technical input in order to evaluate manufacturing options and develop appropriate quotes
- Interface with internal and external sources (i.e. resin and insert suppliers, special processes, customers, etc.) as required to gather quotation information
- Review each quotation package to ensure that all information required to develop each quote is complete and accurate
- Consult with sales and other internal customers to obtain additional information regarding quotes if needed
- Create and manage necessary notations on each quote to include relevant exceptions and definition of special conditions
- Establish accurate tooling and production lead times for each quotation
- Completion of estimates within required due dates or within Donatelle established timing expectations
- Achieve appropriate balance between quote accuracy,costs and delivery.
- Evaluate multiple manufacturing methods, as appropriate, to develop the most efficient and cost effective manufacturing process
