Summary

Facilities Supervisor

  • At Edward I am a part of the maintenance team that keeps the offsite buildings operating.
  • I run standby generators, transfer switches, and perform repairs and maintenance on the roof top units, air handlers and boilers.
  • I also performed general maintenance such as lighting ballasts and bulbs, repair of items within the suites such as refrigerators, mechanical locks, fan motors, and doors.
  • I also performed smaller wiring jobs.
  • I am experienced with building automation, as the buildings are all on a BAS by Johnson Controls.
  • I am versed in three phase electricity and the operation of fire panels.
  • In February of 2018 I was promoted to Supervisor of Facilities at Linden Oaks Hospital at Edward, a Behavioral Health Hospital.
  • I am in charge of the Facilities and Maintenance department, answering to the Main Hospital Director of Facilities.
  • We were surveyed in April of 2018, 2021 and again in 2024.

Journeyman Technician

  • At PLM, I was a journeyman technician for the maintenance of the fleet of refrigerated trailers.
  • I was dispatched daily in a mobile service truck for any repairs at the customer’s location.
  • Duties included any refrigeration repairs including diesel engine, generator and also some of the minor trailer repairs.
  • I was responsible for the upkeep and stocking of parts and fluid inventories on the truck.
  • I enjoyed working on and troubleshooting electrical components.

Sole Engineer and Maintenance Man

  • At SCS, I was the sole engineer and maintenance man.
  • Responsibilities included minor repairs to Frick RXF and RWF screw type compressors, maintenance of the condensers and pump packages.
  • I repaired the high-speed doors for the building.
  • I also performed the refrigeration repairs on the fleet of over 200 refrigerated trailers including Carrier and Thermo King Refrigeration units.
  • I also oversaw the maintenance of the standby generator and electrical systems within the building.

  • At CCT, I advanced from line mechanic, repairing diesel engines, generators and compressors to lead bus mechanic and then to lead mechanic on first shift.
  • I was formally referred to as 'the go-to guy' on last written review.
