Recruited to perform services to one of the most unique critical infrastructures of the United States, under contract to East Bay Municipal District ( EBMUD)
I performed security supervisory services for the District which provides water services for an area of apx
331 Sq
Miles for apx 1.4 million people
Elements of the District are located in seven counties of which I assist in supervisory oversight of apx 75 employees working in those areas
Headquartered in Oakland, EBMUD owns and maintains 2 water storage reservoirs on the Mokelumne River, 5 terminal reservoirs, 91 miles (146 km) of water transmission aqueducts, 4,100 miles (6,600 km) of water mains, 6 water treatment plants (WTPs), 29 miles (47 km) of wastewater interceptor sewer lines and a regional wastewater treatment facility (WWTF) rated at a maximum treatment capacity of 320 million gallons per day
(MGD.) This requires staffing and training of static and mobile patrols to serve these areas 24/7 of which my role was essential in establishing and maintaining.
