Summary
- My time with Marriott started with opening the Fort Lauderdale Marriott on 17th Street as Director of Loss Prevention.
- Went to Atlanta Downtown to shut down the old downtown Marriott
- from there i went to Marriott Corporate in Bethesda and did the pre opening documentation and manuals for the new Courtyard brand
- Next i went to Miami Airport Marriott as Director of Loss prevention.
- My next move was to Biscayne Bay Marriott as Director of Loss prevention and began my Marriott ID training program for Resident Manager. Upon Completion of the ID Training program I was assigned as Resident manager of Venetia Town Residence adjacent to the Biscayne Bay Marriott. Marriotts first hotel (225 rooms) and 810 condo units we managed along with 220 slip marina and 200,000 sq feet of retail space.
- I then transferred to the Orlando World Center to do "special projects" as directed by the General manager under the title of Resident Manager ( even though thy had a RM)
