It has been my pleasure to be associated with Marteen during his 2023 summer internship with the Glen Rock Police Department. He quickly became adept to the use of Geographic Information System (GIS) while working with our Traffic Safety Bureau. His responsibilities included GIS mapping of traffic regulation signage, inspection for compliance with the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices for Streets and Highways, as well as our municipal code.
He is a motivated quick learner who was in the early stages of his educational journey, having just completed his sophomore year at the Rochester Institute of Technology. His desire for learning and self-improvement is evident.
