Receiving and Power Equipment

▪ In the receiving department I created new processes to control and receive domestics and foreign products as fast and accurate as possible.

▪ When I started as a lead in power equipment there were some problems with the replenishment from the staging area on the receiving floor. It was taking too long for the items to get to the primaries even if they were on back orders. I created a procedure that helped us to send the products from receiving to the primaries directly by eliminating some extra steps that were making this job more difficult to do.

Shipping and Inventory Control

▪ I help to create a procedure to ship large orders for very important customers.

▪ I help to achieve the best Physical inventory that we ever had in Petedge by training and supervising a select group of people through the whole inventory.

SAP implementation on Petedge /RICH PRODUCTS/ Galaxy support team

I help my team and other teams in the organization to a successful SAP implementation. Because of my leadership, dedication to the project and the ability to transfer the knowledge that I acquired in SAP trainings to the associates in the organization we had a very successful startup and continue to operate at a high level today.

Lean Initiatives

My leadership as a Lean Champion in showing others how to use the LEAN program has made year 2013 a success for Lean at Petedge. On that year, because of the LEAN program, the Billerica DC has experienced a whirlwind of change and improvements These changes have been reflected in the attitudes of our associates, as well as in the day-to-day work habits of our associates and the results have made for a cleaner and more organized DC. Also in all our work centers, our associates were working smarter and were more productive. All of this came about because the entire DC workforce was more involved on the LEAN programs than before and they embraced it and implemented it.
