Conducting meetings was an integral part of communication between myself, property owners, subcontractors, suppliers, and city officials when necessary. I would conduct meetings via Zoom, Teams, or in person.

My 25 plus years of experience in the construction industry has given me firsthand knowledge of proper construction management.

As a project manager working both in the office and field I have an understanding of interpreting construction drawings and specifications.

One of the main duties while working in the field was to inspect material, workmanship, construction, and installation of various systems frequently used from excavating through roofing.

I have always followed safety protocols that insure a safe work environment. I am familiar with OSHA safety regulations, currently updating my status with online training.

I have worked closely for over 20 years with engineers and architects of different disciplines. Most closely with Mike Porras, PE. After meeting with clients I would bring my designs to Mike for review, if I signed a contract with a client, we would work together to create construction drawings for permit submitting.

I do have basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit. I rarely used these as this is where the architect and engineer came into play.

With 25 plus years in the industry I have an in-depth knowledge of all phases of construction from utilities, site work, and construction throughout completion (certificates of occupancy).

My background in construction dates back into the late 1980s with many completed projects. Healthcare specific projects include a 3 story medical facility in downtown Rapid City, SD which was a ground up new construction project that I worked for the general contractor. Another more recent healthcare project was renovating office space for lease to medical professionals which included steel stud framing, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and finish work. The was an occupied building so cleanliness, safety, and dust control were very important.
