I am the oldest of seven and have been around children all my life! My very first job as a teenager was babysitting. As far as my first "real" job I followed in my father's footsteps and became employed with the Bell System. It was challenging and interesting, and had my office not gotten eliminated due to company wide restructuring I might have retired from there.
I consider myself to be a people person and thoroughly enjoyed my salon experiences dealing with the public.
One of the best experiences I had was the year that I volunteered in a K1 inclusion class at Martin Luthor King elementary school. After the conclusion of that job I vowed that I would try to work within the school system the first chance I got. It truly was one of the most rewarding things I've dine. I hope to replicate that experience with the SCSD.
